A note from Charlie
I became a yoga teacher because I loved it. But somewhere between the back to back classes, early mornings, last minute cancellations and the end of month money stress, the thing I loved started to wear me down.
I was so busy teaching classes I never had time to stop and question it. And honestly, even when I did question it, I was too exhausted to do anything about it. So I just kept going. Then covid happened. And for the first time in years, I was forced to stop.
While most teachers were waiting to go back to the studio, I sat with the question I'd been avoiding: is this actually the career I want? Not the teaching part. The teaching part I'd always love. But the way I was doing it? No. I knew I needed to build something different.
So I started building online, growing my YouTube channel and creating online programs.
I learnt how to market, how to sell, how to actually connect with an audience and understand what they needed.
YouTube took four years before it paid a proper wage. Four years of showing up, figuring it out, and trusting the process when there was very little evidence it was working.
But I kept going. And now? My financial stability, my freedom, my day to day life looks nothing like it did back then. The difference is night and day.
I built Yoga Teacher School for the teacher I used to be. The one who loved yoga so much she let it burn her out. The one who hadn't yet been shown a better way.
This is that better way.
